During the regime’s major crises, the Queen, encouraged by her advisers, would simultaneously appear in different parts of the kingdom to embrace her people. Unfortunately, she had not fully learnt to master where she appeared, and was often to be seen in awkward positions, by which she did not particularly endear herself.
